It impressed me so much. He actually has a really good voice too, which is an unexpected bonus in a comedy song. And it wasn't just a cynical song played for cheap laughs either; he managed to get in there that although it is indeed true that if he didn't have her he would be with someone else, in this world he is with her and wouldn't want it otherwise and still make that funny. Very impressive.

You only liked it because it mentioned statistical distribution and bell curves.

I thought in general it was very poor. Frank Skinner was absolute rubbish. But I did like Tim Minchin and will be looking for more of his stuff on Youtube later.

The kabbess commented that Frank Skinner has "really lost it", but actually, as I said to her at the time*, the thing about Frank Skinner is that he has NEVER been a good stand-up comedian. It's never really been his thing. He's more of a banterer than a monologue guy.


*The poor lass has to put up with a lot of me saying things like this to her, none of you will be surprised to hear.

I saw a few minutes and found it so toe-curlingly embarrassing to watch (cos it was so crap) that I switched it over after about 3 mins.....oh dear...

I'll always think Frank Skinner is funny. Fantasy Football was absolutely awesome and stands the test of time as well. I get why people don't like him but I do.

I thought the Ball was really bad, I went to the last one and that was pretty good but this was too rushed and some of the acts were plain poor. I thought Izzard and Minchin were good though.

I swa Tim Minchin in buzcocks & thought "who the hell are you?"

I am now seriously impressed & purchased his DVD all the way from Australia.

Have say overall it was a huge dissapointment (I only wanted to watch it for the Boosh, to find out the clips was from last year, grrrr!!)
