It's not an unreasonable assumption in this case. KP had just hit a match-winning century featuring a shot that will enter the annals of cricket history. And then he has a go at him.

That does precisely nothing to establish that his reasons for critcism are rooted in resentment.

Incidentally, at the time it was far from evident that the century was "match-winning".

So it was, but the point is surely that at the time he played the shot, it had not been.
