Disagree. I think he sounds very different to both of them.

I'd put him more in the raw RL Burnside mould with a big dose of droney, hypnotic John Lee Hooker thrown in.

Couldn't care less, he seems down to earth enough to me and I like his music.

Given it a good listen now and really like it. It's his best album yet, I reckon.

I have to turn it off when he starts telling a fucking long boring story after the last song, though. Who the hell told him that was a good idea?
