I'm saddened by Sean Lock's death, but being reminded of my early 80's local is always cheering.I remember seeing him a few times at The Greyhound in Sydenham and in Up The Creek. Alan Davies and Sean Hughes were often on the bill , maybe late 80's early 90's. It was a good time for local stand up anyway, but he stood out even then, so quick. Sad news.
Number 4 made me splutter and cackle. Loudly apparently as people were looking at me funny on the beach![]()
Remembering Sean Lock With 11 Of His Finest Jokes

I've been a fan of Sean Lock since I first heard him on the Mark'n'Lard show back in '94 or so; one of those utterly innate comedians who could always wrangle fun from every conceivable source in a uniquely dry fashion; a tragic loss for British comedy. RIP Sean.
Yeah the TV was decent but the radio version was absolutely great. Really sad to hear this, no age these days really eitherVery sad news. I absolutely adored 15 Storeys High, and the radio version it was based on.
RIP![]()
yeah so quick...I think only Lee Mack a tenth of a second faster. I didn't really like his stand up show, i think he's one of those rare comedians who was funniest just being himself rather than with pre-planned material - a total natural.t he stood out even then, so quick. Sad news.
Funny of course, but this tweet is all about Morgan. Seeking pop culture relevance.
