Everyones buffet fave (but they can repeat). Scotch eggs are versitile and can be eaten on a picnic or in the car or combined with curry sauce for 'Birmingham Eggs'. Scrummy

I don't think I have ever eaten a Scotch egg that was other than totally foul.

I must've blinked when I voted as I meant to say Scrummy. Perhaps my subconscious is holding on to a service station bought scotch egg being the cause of the only time I've had food poisoning.

My favourite supplier of scotch eggs (Kennedy's) is closing down tomorrow.:( :( :( :( :(

Cheers Chairman. Am liking the herbs

The herbs absolutely make it IMO, as do the spring onions. :) And for god's sake use a deep fat fryer if you have one - fannying around with a frying pan is a proper pain in the arse. :)

Eggs, meat, breadcrumbs. I should love them, but they always taste a bit unpleasant.

Maybe I've just never had one of the good ones :(

I recently developed a worrying obsession with scotch eggs. At my worst I was on 4 a day (not THAT bad but I was a veggie for 11 years before this episode), but I have managed to cut back to none a day thank god. I was starting to get lots of eggy burps and trumps and my poos started being... welll... less than erotic

I really really crave scotch eggs. My traditional first food stuff on the occasional visits back to the UK is scotch egg from Knutford services, followed by as much pork as I can eat.
