Scolari sacked

Personally, out of that sorry list of chancers and has-beens, I'd go for Slavan Bilic.

won't happen till after the next eros. He's been ruling himself out of every single job(including the big ones) since last world cup and has constantly said he wants to finish the job with croatia first.

As for quieroz me thinks alex ferguson would kill him if he went to chelsea, and i actually mean that, I would expect him dead within a month of accepting that job.

whats this Zola stuff all about i thought he was on the brink of getting sacked two months ago

He was playing nice stuff even then, it just wasn't clicking.

Besides, even that losing streak actually consisted of games against Man U, Arsenal, an in-form (at the time) Hull, Viller, Everton, spurs being the only shit team we played during that spell...

look. can everybody just stop talking about zola please?

that Hiddink is good. Russia are doing really well under him.

I reckon Roman's well pissed that Jose's doing so well over here, otherwise he'd be back like a shot. If I was a betting man, I'd be tempted to stick a tenner on Roberto Mancini.

Scolari inherited a good squad and got nowhere so I'm glad to see the back of him. I just hope Abramovich isn't losing patience.

Scolari needed a couple of seasons. Obviously not enough for Roman.

I seem to recall when Scolari took over Brazil he needed a couple of years.

Still what do I know.

Bring back Mourinho at any cost ...

Let's hope the Avram Grant rumours aren't true – the players had zero respect for him. Abramovich should be on his hands and knees to Jose begging him to return.
Avram grant did better in Europe in one season than Jose did in 3.

Chelsea's success in Europe - or elsewhere – last season had nothing to do with Grant; he was virtually ignored by the players who thought he was a shite coach with ideas 20 years out of date. It was Clarke and Terry who did most of the coaching and managing.

Chelsea will be more skint than West Ham in a season or two when Abramovich does one.

Stay there Zola and build something decent.

I would never forgive Zola if he bailed on us for the $ki. Fortunately I think the chances are slim, he'd be a fool to do so. Never under-estimate the bad luck that can afflict West Ham though.

If Chelsea appoint an "interim" manager until the end of the season, I'd suspect Abramovich and Kenyon were keeping an eye on Zola and Clarke with a view to stealing them in the summer if West Ham continue to thrive.

Thats my biggest concern. I think we are safe now but if The Icelandic one wants to cash in before he goes for example or the FA charge and fine us for a second incompetent time and we go down then I can see this as a real situation.

I've always wondered why Clarke left Chelsea in the first place. There were rumours that he was going to go months before he finally jumped ship for West Ham (he was linked with the Sheff Wed job at one point). I suspect he wasn't that happy there after Mourinho left and I'm not sure he'd want to go back, even with Zola in tow.

Forget Zola .. it's Steve Clarke that carried Chelsea over the past few years..and its no coincidence now that he's gone, that Chelsea are beginning to slide.. and conversley, West Ham are doing well.. not rocket science..
