Trauma?

Going into secondary school as a kind, curious, outgoing innocent chappie with a desire to learn and a need to be nurtured and cared for, only to be crushed and dehumanised, coming out as a narrow-minded exam paper-writing machine. I've been struggling ever since!

this isn't that bad but we had a mental welsh teacher who used to lose it at people for speaking english in her class. she'd make people wear a dunce's cap and a sign around their neck... i think she got stopped from doing that eventually. she was one of those tiresome welsh people who think everything welsh is morally superior. she only taught us for a year, then she had a breakdown.

but all my psychological damage was done by other kids, mostly my "friends". no teachers ever tried to do anything about it. they must have thought if i was getting good marks, i must be fine.
