Say goodbye Circle Line and hello to the, err, Spiral Line

At Paddington where will the signs for the circle line point to now? The original circle line platform or the old H&S one

There's something on Craigslist about a "Circle Jerk".

I think it's related. They all seem very excited about it

I've already put my name down. I've got my anorak and a flask of weak lemon drink. Although I was hoping there might be some women there, but never mind. I'm riding the Man Train

Cool. I wonder if that means more trains from Shep Bush?

It's painfully long waiting for trains going east compared to the central line service.

They have been terminating trains at edgeware road for some time this formalizes it I suppose but since is a proper hassle for people with luggage. Roll on crossrail.

I'm intrigued to know what they are planning there - if there was any logic to this, they would be renaming the former H&S platforms as Paddington North, Paddington Basin or somesuch at the same time.

I have another idea for a new name... :)

Just got the TFL email through confirming Dec 13th to start proper.

We are writing to let you know that from Sunday 13 December, the Circle line will be permanently extended from Edgware Road to Hammersmith, to provide a more reliable service.

This extension will provide a more frequent service with trains running every five minutes. All westbound Circle line trains from King's Cross St. Pancras via Edgware Road will now run to Hammersmith.

Tube stations from Hammersmith up to Paddington are now branded pink and yellow for both lines.

I was on a H&C train at the weekend and noticed they'd changed the tube maps already to show the new arrangement.
