Saxondale 2nd series

Only to you. I think he's pretty convincing and he's done a good job of investing some humanity into his character - a wise choice as otherwise he'd been monstrous

Yeah, but you already admitted you just let programmes wash over you :D What has injecting humanity got to do with overacting? I think the mugging has a definite place but when it's overdone it's distracting. He got it spot on the other night - just the right balance. And when he does that I find it extremely funny.

Is it just me, or is this episode several shades of shit worse than any of the previous ones? Loads of crap gay and short jokes with no particular point.

Dunno, but some of it made me chuckle. :)

Definetly not the best ! Never been a fan of courtroom scenes myself.

Yes the neighbour 'Jonathan' is abit of a star.. See he was sporting a 'Glastonbury Festival' sweatshirt last week. ;) :D

I do like the intercourse between the two. :D

Last night was one of the worst, although I like the second series in general. It's never that laugh-out-loud funny, and the plots are pretty thin, but I like Tommy Saxondale – he's got more depth and pathos than Coogan's other creations.

The starts of the programme where is in the anger management classes are definitely not as good as the 1st series.

i agree, which is why it's a shame he hasn't bothered to write decent episodes.

Was that Mike-out-of-The-Young-Ones' first acting job since the Dave Hedgehog Bottom nonsense?

Sad that he never made it, he was my fave Young Ones character. He's a tad wooden though.

Should never have been in the Young Ones..

Oh no no no - he was great! Somewhat out of place, I admit, but he came out with wonderfully surreal quips.

He had a cult following in Grimsby, I'll have you know.
