saving a thread to hard drive

Ok need some help here kids, I've been trying to save a 30+ page thread from another site to my hard drive for my mate to read with no success, I've tried using one of those website saver thingies but end up with a huge folder saving almost every link imaginable on each page of the thread, and it only saves about 6 or seven pages of the thread, how is it done so only the 30+ pages are saved?

A tip, if you have a PDF writer set up (CutePDF is a good one) then printing each page to PDF can leave you with nicer formatting etc.

Oh yes, that's probably a better view for saving. I was just going to mention that putting &pp=40 after the URL puts more posts on a page, but I see printthread has that as a clickable option anyway.

well I done it, the thread is actually 46 pages long and I had to name each page 001...046 what a pain, it's going on a cd for a non internet mate.
