Yeah, pubco's suck as they make our beer more expensive and behave like corrupt bankers.
I wondered why places like Weatherspoons and Samuel Smiths pubs could sell beer at a decent price - they don't have to deal with pub-co's. When house prices were booming many deliberately run village pubs into bankrupcy with massive rents and high beer prices. The pub-co's wanted the pub to fail so they could sell it as a private house. Pubs properties can only change to houses when a pub as a business is proven not to be viable. Pub co's are now in the shit as got too greedy with their pyramid scheme financial wizardry.
