This has got to be a wind-up.squonk said:Does anybody else consider the life sentences handed down to the so-called murderers of the millionaire banker John Monkton, Damien Hanson and Elliot White, were excessively harsh - 36 and 18 years respectively?
Forgive me for not joining in the chorus of media denunciation. These two guys are text book examples of the failures of capitalist society. Failed by the education system, failed by social services and failed ultimately by the judicial system. Who do you think were the real victims of this tragic affair? A multimillionaire banker whose privilege and status is founded upon rapacious greed? Or his misguided assailants who could never hope to aspire to such wealth given the brutal oppression of the working class - and in particular those from ethnic minorities?
