Savage sentences?

Does anybody else consider the life sentences handed down to the so-called murderers of the millionaire banker John Monkton, Damien Hanson and Elliot White, were excessively harsh - 36 and 18 years respectively?

Forgive me for not joining in the chorus of media denunciation. These two guys are text book examples of the failures of capitalist society. Failed by the education system, failed by social services and failed ultimately by the judicial system. Who do you think were the real victims of this tragic affair? A multimillionaire banker whose privilege and status is founded upon rapacious greed? Or his misguided assailants who could never hope to aspire to such wealth given the brutal oppression of the working class - and in particular those from ethnic minorities?

This has got to be a wind-up.

Any revolution would probably come from the third world and anyone posting on this board would be up against the wall as a rich bastard, monckton probably thought of himself as middle class not rich.

The murderers sentence is hardly savage, the problem is people who kill a prole in this country don't get a harsh enough sentence. Tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime is imho the right approach, trouble is it makes a good slogan so politicians talk about it instead of doing it. In any case, letting violent crime get out of control is a nice little problem for our dear leaders to save up for when they need support for fascist measures.

It was not whom they murdered, but how they murdered as to why they got such heavy & justified (IMO) sentences. They did not give the Moncktons time to surrender their possessions or comply with their demands. They attacked & savagely stabbed to death the husband & then went for his wife as she was screaming for their daughter to get away. She was very lucky to survive. The two assailants are both psychopaths who would have been still in prison if the Prohibition service had not cocked up. Good riddance to them I feel a lot safer should they never be released.

I very much doubt your claim to be a "full time activist for UAF"? Is there is such a thing and how many "full time activists" work alongside you? How have you "devoted all your life" in an organisation that hasn't existed for that long? What other anti-fascist organisations have you "devoted all your life" to?

Returning to the original thread, I see that the 'respectable' Freedom party has joined ranks with Messrs Morrison and Co. The FP was supposedly founded on the basis that it offered a moderate alternative to the BNP, and yet they are now in "exploratory talks" with the avowardly nazi Nationalist Alliance.
