Quite possibly the best event of the season!
Gentle, entertaining, beautiful flower arrangments on checked table cloths, deckchairs, lovley ladies and oh so delicious cakes.

I was there. Had a great time. Joined in with the ukelele orchestra, which was a laugh. Probably saw and didn't recognise lots of Urbanites.

On the way back last night at about 6:30pm my partner was attacked in the street on the corner of Denmark Road and Paulet Road. She's 8 months pregnant. The man responsible had just attacked a man further up the road and threatened to go and get his gun.

While we were chatting to a friend and her little boy he came up behind my partner, grabbed her by the head and threw her to the floor. He looked very angry, and either very unwell, off his head, or both. Unfortunately the police and I were unable to catch him, although their efforts were pretty lack lustre.

She sustained head, neck, arm, back and hand injuries, but fortunately nothing too serious and the baby is fine. My daughter was unhurt but is very traumatised.

I know the police started searching the area, but don't know if they caught him. I doubt it. He was seen disappearing into Thorlands Estate.

Fucking hell! What a nightmare - I'm so glad that your partner and family are ok... I hope they get this guy - he sounds like he needs to be off the streets and fast!

It sounds like that guy has some serious mental issues.

Thanks everyone, physically everyone is on the mend now. Not much luck finding the bloke. It looks more and more like he lives on the same estate as us, which is causing my girls to get increasingly worried, so I fear this might take while a while to recover from.
