Sasha Baron Cohen's "Bruno"

on that bnp list that was circulated there was only 4 showed from my town and not the ones i would have suspected , now if they had done that around 1985 things would have been a lot different

my town became the main recruitment area for the far right in the 80s because it had the highest unemployment in the country at the time (seems like that this year too lol )and nationalism is politics of despair , it can only grow in times of depression . we had very little opposition up here either and no real black population here either which i did find quite puzzling at the time and remembered having a conversation with one lap dog of the day .

i rember saying yeah i agree its the blacks causing high unemployment (he must have thought i was onside )i agree its the blacks who shut the shipyards the blacks who closed our mines . the blacks who shut our steel works .
he sunk into a hole after that and couldnt reply

ha ha and the irony most of all is the nazi parties would abolish the welfare state!

I understand perfectly, and it's getting even harder. There are a lot of Sun reader type bands who play bad metal who would deny being nazis but whose lyrics come pretty close. I don't even listen to em. If you are proper into the music you generally find out who is ok and who isn't but it's a fair point and - in london esp, in the early 80's - there were some horrible bastards about.

Most skinheads i know are sound but i guess they are representative of the working class in the area, so that down south you're more likely to get right wing ones

You can spot right wingers from a mile away, they don't usually tend to hide the fact. I'm sure youre aware of why they disappeared and became the BNP :D wasnt really a political choice truth told ;)

i can remember womble coming round door to door with a leaflet opposing mixed race marriages ?it was all totally irrelevant to the area we were living in , i think appart from a handfull of asian shop /restraunt owners we never really saw any black people .
they dont really like talking about there main policies though do they as people would be appauled and run a mile

the wombles travelled that far north, did the flumps ever pay a visit ?

11 Oclock show was CLASS!

Ali G was the only good thing about it. I liked Gervais too when he took over Sasha's slot (bit hit and miss though), everyone else who worked on the show didn't seem to like him and he sort of sat moodily alone.

I just thought it was great, Ricky Gervais, Ali g and Daisy, and the bloke too was it Ian Lee or summit?

God, he is one of the worlds biggest tits. The really annoying thing was that in the office when someone had come up with a joke and it was approved someone would honk a honky horn and everyone would cheer. I wouldn't mind so much but the jokes were always so shit.

Saw this earlier tonight, had some funny moments but always find that these films work much better on tv than cinema. The plot was pretty rubbish just like in borat but the stuff not related to that was quite funny. I reckk. It gets about 5/10... Just wait for it on dvd :)
