I quite like my sandwiches chilled, but then the place where I work has shit aircon and it's always too hot, stuffy and airless so a cool sandwich on my break is quite nice.

They either ooze - or the edges are so firmly toasted together that they break yer teeth. And then splutter hot cheese everywhere.

Do those toaster pockets do the same thing?

I like to toast my sandwich under the grill on both sides so the cheese is thinking about melting when the sides are toasted. Yum

Eating an actual sandwich served chilled from the fridge is very wrong indeed, like wine a good butty needs a little airing otherwise you end up eating something like those chilled supermarket butties that all taste like babyfood and Mayo.

Mmm.. or you could just skip the sandwich and settle for the bottle of wine for lunch,
