Yes - mayonnaise can be a bit bland - specially if you've grown up with salad cream. Must try making some myself some day....

good stuff in a cheese salad sarnie, great on chips. quite nice if you add a little sweet chilli sauce too.

Love it with a proper old fashioned ham or egg salad with boiled pots. * drifts back to 1970s*

I loved salad cream as a kid, then mayo appeared, tis has never been the same since.
