Safari 4 browser - beta review

on the latest Chrome, which is pretty much the same as Safari 5. There are all sorts of different tests of course specialised for different areas.

I can't really think of any reason why I should download Safari again as Chrome looks set to do the job for me now.

The reason I don't use Chrome is that it doesn't sync bookmarks with Safari very well and those top tabs are annoying. I like the universal search/URL bar (though I understand there are problems cutting and pasting full Urls with it).
I always recommend Firefox to PC users but I use Safari on the Mac, with adblock and flash block and smartscroll (inertial scrolling), it has always seemed a bit quicker than the others.

I use Chrome under XP but I find the font rendering painful, so occasionally use Safari if I'm stuck in Bootcamp for long. I must sort out Windows 7.

Presumably the international content gets priority. TBH, I never even knew there was a separate UK page for Safari

Great. Just downloaded Safari 5 and I can't play videos. Firefox works OK so it's not my computer.

How do I fix this? Don't say i have to fumble around for a plug-in or something?

Just quit safari and reopened and both youtube and myspazz work now.

Just a little hiccup.

I like it otherwise.
