Saffies beat England by playing like England.

They were the best team in the tournament so are deserveing champions. No good getting upset about the try, Wilkinson would probably have missed the conversion anyway and we'd have still been a point down.

Interesting how the tournament has panned off. First of all the Sh were on top and it was the European league structure being questioned, then in the knockouts, the SANZAR structure was being blamed as there wasn't enough knockout rugby. Now a SH team has won, was that all just bollocks??

I said it was no good getting upset, not questioning it. I'd be a hypocrite otherwise, the amount of Kiwis I've told to get over the forward pass.

I hope it might have rattled the SA defence but it only looked like it fired them up - no guarantee we'd have won at 10-9 and we were still well in the game at 6-9.

England seem to run out of steam for the last 20 when everyone said thats when we would win it if it wass till close.

Playing in Europe is no obstacle to the RGs playing in Tri Nations as the tournament is out of our season. It is however a BIG obstacle to them playing in an enlarged 6Nations. The French clubs rely on their Argentinian players to see them thru the early monthys of nthe year when their French players and one or two others are away on internationla duty in 6 nations., The French clubs have always been the barrier to the RGs joining the 6 Nations.

Phew now England have lost we can patronise them and say well done it was a noble effort. If England had won that it would have been one of the great sporting revivals and a far better achievment than four years ago.
I did want England to win but want English people don't get is that the reason other people want them to lose is because they're such bad winners. When they won the world cup and did well in the 6 nations it was we're too good for this and we'll have to join the tri-nations to get some decent opposition. It's no wonder everyone pisses themselves when you lose.
