Oooh, look a bite! :D

My Arsenal comments weren't entirely serious, although from your reply, one might be mistaken for thinking that yours is the only club that ever gets a player injured...

The second bit, I was entirely serious about. Let's let the refs be in charge of the game, not the players. That's fucking ridiculous.

Just realised that not only did I misplace my vote on my own poll but somehow I managed to double up on the verb in the question.

Serious poll fail.

van Persie is admitting to cheating, I can't read it any other way.

Of course I understand what he means, but you can't have players exaggerating contact, it's against the spirit of the game.

Perhaps if we could finally one day get video evidence used for the big penalty-box calls then players wouldn't be so rash as to simulate in the area.

There's a difference between Pires going down without being touched, when a foot has gone out and he dived over (buying a foul? vs Portsmouth) to Eboue going down without a foot going out at all to Eduardo going down under the lightest touch but a touch nonetheless to RvP going down and letting it be known he was touched (just in case).

Eboue is cheating (see Porto)
Pires is arguably cheating (see Stevie G/Rooney/Owen)
Eduardo and RvP are 'being professional' (see every club).
