Rupaul's drag race

i was starting to lose track of who was who with the separate groups so glad they're finally united. Symone was a clear winner this week, Rose not far behind, but no way Denali was bottom two with an awesome runway and mediocre challenge, should have been La La Ri i think who definitely did worse on the challenge. the one who went was definitely the worst though, no confidence or experience in the non-runway stuff.
am starting to not like Tina Burner as much as i did initially, getting a bit over-confident and bitchy.
 
Denali's lip synch was possibly the best I've ever seen. Really warming to Kandy Muse, such a sweetie. Symone is my fave though, utterly hilarious. fac-TREH
 
Good decisions this week! Except I wanted utica to win, although gotmik was my second.

I think utica is automatically my favourite because I love that type of drag. But also loving symone and tamisha.
 
Yes - it was close between Utica and Gotmik, and I think Utica was surprised and disappointed. Her sleeping bag dress was much more skilful, but they loved Gotmik’s moneybags suit in a way I didn’t really understand.

I just need to say how attractive I find Rosé out of drag. He looks like something from the Hollywood B-list in 1991, all bedroom hair and come to bed eyes and sexy chin/jaw/stubble. I’ve never really had that reaction to a drag race contestant before. I shall be sorry to see him go, when he eventually does.
 
Yeah it was super close at the top, either of them could have won. Very glad to see La La Ri do an awesome lip sync, i always hate it when someone lovely goes because they can't sew (although, yunno, learn a bit maybe, you know you're going to need it!).

hilarious to see Candy Muse expose herself as as thick as i suspected she might be, just not understanding the grown-up conversation around her at all! literally no idea why her response made them laugh. such a delusional bitch thinking she's so great and slagging off much superior queens. especially bitching about Joey J's last outfit which was actually a fine look just not well constructed. she was bottom two cos her other looks were a bit dull and not cos of that one at all! i was hoping Candy would be bottom two and tbh i think maybe she should have been instead of Joey.

i was glad to see them call out Tamisha on her makeup. i really like her as a person but her looks are a bit dull sometimes and her makeup is often a bit crap. that last outfit was good though and rescued her from the bottom.

No surprise that Joey went, yawn. It's a shame to be a filler queen but there we go :thumbs:

La La Ri is gorgoeus and funny but probably not creative enough to go much further. I agree with spanglechick that Gotmik's outfit was fah-shon in a way that only seems to exist on that one runway. I get 'it', but not in any either amusant, beautiful or wearable way. Not like Violet for example.

Don't hate Uttica but while it was skilfull I question the taste level with specific regard to going much further in the competition.

Ws Olivia even in that episode? She got tons of attention for the first couple, being so pretty, but she was barely in it. I suppose that's an issue with it being early in the run and so many queens still in it.
 
Did anyone manage to watch Untucked this week? Old school rows, Jesus. That Kandy Muse is tiring in her argumentative stupidity.

i never watch the untucked cos i kind of assumed that is what it would be like - the least likeable ones dominating and rowing.
 
Something RPDR fans might like - 'We're Here', featuring Shangela, Bob The Drag Queen and Eureka. It's a mini series. I've seen the first episode and love it. If you need a bit of feelgood TV, it's perfect.
