Rumour: Premier League manager walks out?

Zola quite clearly hasn't been made to sell Upson, the only player we've even slightly tried to sell is Collins, and he's nowhere near the hardcore spine of the team that the press have been claiming the board are going to make him sell.

Personally, I think Collins is one of the most underrated players in the league, but that's another matter.

Moyes drops Lescott over attitude

Everton boss David Moyes drops Joleon Lescott from his squad for Thursday's Europa League match against Sigma Olomouc because of his "poor attitude".

nothing anywhere i can find about any managers walking...

I can see the Board at Everton making a decision over Moyes' head and him having a flounce to make sure the fans know he's on their side. That's about it though.

depends if kenwright has sold lescott to citeh or not i suppose

Lescott wants off though no? You can't keep a player when he wants to leave - that's why Benitez cashed in on Alonso. I can see Kenwright explaining that it's a bloody good deal etc. £20m could buy Turner as replacement and leave change to buy Bentley or someone.

different situation if you ask me, alonso went cos rafa tried to offload him last season in order to purchase barry, when he failed, he was left with a player who didn't trust him anymore.

whereas joleen has had his head turned by the £££'s, pure and simple...

Slightly different seeing as Rafa/LFC made no bones about trying to sell Alonso the season before! Not surprised he thought "fuck it....i'll go back to Spain".

EDIT: Kinda what Pauli said!!!

Well yes in one way - although the appeal to going back to Spain was huge for Alonso - recently married, kid, less tax to pay etc. My point was that both players want(ed) to leave. Lescott has handed in a transfer request so sell him for the silly money which has been offered.

I think Moyes has been fucked off more by the way City have gone about things tbh - if they had come in directly to him with an £18 million bid (and not tapped Lescott up first) then Lescott would probably have gone by now, instead they tried to nab him on the cheap by getting him to force a move.

Part of me wonders if ManUre will let Vidic join Barca in the Winter window and try getting Lescott just to stick two fingers up at those upstarts at Eastlands :D

Ironically, thats the rumour I heard earlier today - Vidic goes to you, Lescott goes to United and we get cash + Wes Brown in return.

Yeah and he's right. But he's not going to leave Everton because of that is he? Let's face it £20m is fucking good business. No point letting it drag on. You need someone better than Steven Taylor ro replace Lescott though.
