You'd have thought so but he made me miss the bus. Being Margate it was half an hour until the next one. Mind you, as I'd previously turned up there fresh (or rather very unfresh) from Glastonbury and got away with it they were pretty easy going.

In a strange way, he's absolutely perfect for the corporate snooker world. He's edgy and sexy enough to help them sell the game all over the globe, but doesn't cause them the same problems as Alex Higgins (give or take the odd outburst).
I like watching how physically easy he is when playing round the table, which is presumably at odds with his mental problems. The guy he's playing at the moment is if anything even smoother (Mark Williams).

Playing some great snooker at the moment. Effortless stuff, still I'm a Hendry fan and always will be.
The fact that Hendry doesn't have that ease and has to try and concentrate all the time, makes his achievements all the better.

AS I said the 'beautiful game' - people can work hard to get good at snooker but there's nothing like some real feel and inspiration for the game. Its a basic instinct, it is wild and free flowing and beautiful.
