And in the process managed to load the club with even more debt. Think about what you're saying.
Anyone heard the rumour about Messi going to manu?
coz it'll never happen
Messi would never leave the team that brought him and his fqmily over from Argie and paid for his growth hormone treatment
He'llplay for as many clubs as Ryan Giggs
No because it won't happen.
I've thought about it. I think you're a self important tit.
Yeah, me too, there is not glossing over this...there is nothing positive about this from a Man Utd perspective (although understand why others are happy to see the back of him).
Agree that Aguero would be a better buy than Ribery (who will be overpriced), Benzema or Tevez.
Happened a few times though...
You'll never win anything with kids
Sure Fergie knows what he's doing
Thats just the thing though innit
Ronaldo wants to leave, even after a successful season and Real winning jack shit
so he wouldn't be a happy ronaldo
2007-08 was a happy ronaldo and he scored 40+ goals
this season he wasn't as happy and he wasn't as good
Tha Day Ferguson goes is the day Utd start the decline into also rans
Kanda, have you come out of the man utd supporter closet yet?
Rehlani, have you not noticed how I say 'they' and not 'we'?
No, he's just in the talk sense about football closet.
you could take note
Sure, £80 million is a vast sum of money and a massive profit to make on Ronaldo. But when you sell a player of his calibre (and yes, I loathe his diving and whinging but it's puerile to suggest that he isn't comfortably among the top ten players in the world) he is generally almost impossible to replace, so the money you get almost becomes irrelevant.
I think it is wishful thinking to suggest that this will mean that there will be a general exodus from ManUre, but I do think he is one of those players who, although it pains me to say it, simply cannot be replaced unless you manage to buy someone like Kaka or Messi. Losing him will make it much more difficult for ManUre to remain the best team in England, never mind establish themselves as the best team in Europe.

The top 4 all Madrid transfers
So the Spanish clubs negotiate TV deals individually?
That would certainly explain a lot. Can't be good for La Liga either. Imagine what would happen if United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea tried to sell their TV rights on an individual basis. There would be uproar.
Also interesting to see that Beckham may just have been the most important signing Madrid ever made.
Even so I still have my doubts. If they sign Ribery in the next few days we can be certain that something fishy is going on. Pushing 200m worth of transfers in one summer would indicate either extreme risk taking or a helping hand from somewhere, especially with the wage bill to go with it.
It's interesting to see that the Spanish players will also pay half the tax that English players now do. Apparently Arshavin was a bit miffed when he realised, post-budget, that he would take home less money at Arsenal than he was on at Zenit.
Interesting- and actually very pleasant- reading .
Incidentally after reading this:
I was wondering if Ronaldo finalised the signing of a new contract with Nike, which was about to happen a couple of weeks ago. Adidas cannot be too pleased if he has..
So, Man Utd hike up ticket prices, not that it will effect many of their fans.
Yet, they sell their best player?
If a player wants to leave, it's pointless keeping them. That's just common sense, not Utd's fault is it?
Rendering whatever point you were trying to make.. pointless.
You forgot "bitch about the unfairness of it all, then nick someone elses best player by doing exactly the same thing".
Not seen anyone bitch. Have you?
your so last year
Yes - SAF has been doing it for much of this season. Didnt he say he wouldnt sell Real a virus, never mind his best player?
"We wouldn't sell them a virus" said Fergie
Vidic was there best player
that was ages ago!
He's done both with this move.
Anyway - I trust Fergie's got something up his sleeve.
He said he wouldn't sell Real a virus, he didn't say I won't sell someone who rightly said that my tactics were shite in the Champions League final..
Clearly confused. The truth will set you free.
