If you do cut a blind to width, make very sure that you trim it in a straight line.
A mate of mine got a bit of a "drunkard's walk" wandering down his, only a problem for him as it was a seriously high and narrow window on some stairs.
Right so I’ve got a window where I’d like to fit a roller blind as the curtains were only a temporary fix and get in the way
There’s a wooden batten which the curtain rail is screwed in so presumably it’s just a case of swapping it out for a roller blind?
Having never bought one before I assume (hope!) they come as a kit and I wouldn’t need to do anything more than measure and fit into the batten.
I am never very good judging colours but I wondered if something quite colourful (like a tequila sunrise?) might be better than a plain colour. It could be a bit like a feature wall!
