rockabilly

don't worry bluestreak. i'm sure rockabilly can survive being trendy again for a while. like with any trend, the people who really get into it will stay with it and appreciate it, and the leechers will get bored and bugger off.

i'm not sure which one i am yet :hmm: :-B (although i never set foot in hoxton or shoreditch ;) )

Yeh I'd say it's been and gone as with burlesque, there are still a lot of people appreciating that kind of thing though. :)

I think you're a big fat liar and have been to Hoxton and Shoreditch

only when i was younger. once, maybe. to metalheadz at the blue note, mid/late nineties. oh, and to the bar that was (is?) above the 333.

not very rockabilly, i know. but i did like eddie cochran when i was at junior school. that was in basingstoke, not hoxton.

To be fair, dollys is pretty late. The whole rockabilly thing was getting big in Shoreditch etc about 18 months ago, I suspect it's already in decline

yes it was all at ye olde axe etc. i think they still do the night there but it has passed it's "uptothe minute" bit.
