Because I would most likely have to sit next to my cunt of a father. In all honesty though, I'm happy sharing a seat...it's absolutely dull as hell at Stamford Bridge these days. Little atmosphere, scandalous prices, NO SMOKING!....I daresay I preferred going when we were shit and teams didn't come to play for a draw.

I know what you mean about atmosphere, I've only been with other season ticket holders who've been going for yours and have nicknames like 'Dog' and 'Bones' :D

I'd quite like Abramovich to sell up and buy someone else tbh it's getting boring like you say, and I'm not paying 40-odd quid a ticket

As a smoker, Rollem, it's quite annoying not being able to even have a fag at half time. A few years ago, the waft of spliffs filled the air at HT.

Its shocking that lasy years final is still about my best west ham day. Sad and pathetic as well possibly but even after we lost i wasn't overly disheartend.

If i knew what was coming this seaosn it might have been a different story but i genuinely fealt pride that my team was part of that game.

The pricing is killing the game as a spectator sport imo. Our ST used to include domestic trophies up until the quarter finals, not any more. Now with the cup runs we can expect to go on, you can expect to pay a few hundred quid on top of the already expensive ST.

Regarding the FA cup though, I'm annoyed with the ticket allocations from the FA and imagine it's much worse for Unted fans.

(The scary thought is that Abramovich might never be able to sell it. Whatever happens, the fans are going to paying through the teeth)

Savage Henry, what Brixton pub do you reckon would be best for a Chelsea fan who wants to watch the match with as many other Chelsea fans as possible?

I am looking for an alternative that seems to be the BNP recruitment haven called The Falcon, Clapham Junction.

I'm not too sure . I might just go to the Hob for the game and see what happens . I may also be in the New Forest that weekend as well so I might miss the game completly ! .

The Hob's a safe bet. There's at least a few regulars who are strong Chelsea supporters (including a few who went to the Valencia game) and the usual band of Manc plastic blow-ins (figurehead 'Posh' Pub Marley).

hope we see lots of broken limbs, a 9 a side red card fest with a couple of special 2 footed lunges at ronaldo as he does another few stepovers... and a win for the rentboys to hopefully ensure mourinho stays preventing a manc double and a 2007-08 chavski revival under a half decent manager.

i expect there to be a cockup and those crap little chavski flags are put in the wrong section.

I'll be in Scotland, so distanced anyway

But I''ll be listening to it (somehow, in Scotland!!  )

That'll be from the POV of a total neutral from another lower but far better planet of football.

I don't give a shit about Mancs vs Chelski, , but I hope there's a fair few goals and a bit of excitement.

Not a crisis if not <yawns>

Chelsea v Man Utd zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

TOTALLY BORING!
how many times have i seen these fucking teams play or read about their dumb fucking players/managers/fans in the papers? its like watching an All Allo repeat for the 8th time. its the first time ever i have zero interest in watching FA Cup final, the Championship play offs will be much more exciting

im a city fan so to see united win anything makes my blood boil.

however, i hate chelski on principle so i'll be rooting for the reds *spit*

Cheers, Tarannau. I'd imagine they have tickets for the match itself though.

Aaah, sod it. I'll find somewhere.

Tickets for the Hob? Doubt that's going to happen (has visions of huge bouncers trying to hold out outraged mob of locals)

Does get very full now, especially now the surrounding pubs are going rapidly gastro and finding footie a little downmarket for their tastes. Cock.

Still, in typical Brixton style, it tends to fill up quite late. You should be sound for a seat if you turn up for a drink before the game.

It was nicely empty for Lincoln Rovers yesterday . Somehow I expect the FA cup final to be different !

Man Utd will probably win it IMO and I think that I want them to as it seems the lesser of two vacuous evils.....

I meant they most likely have tickets for the cup final if they're going to away games in the Champs League.

Currently, seems the best option for a pub to watch the game.

Ah, you're right Bazza - the bloke in question does indeed have cup final tickets.

i'm sure it'll be rammed come Saturday!
