I dont count t3.. because its wank. Although the arnie on truck smashed through walls and nukes blowing up the world bits were good...

Robocop would still have her, he beat the robot Kane in Robocop2...

Robocop's smarter and can punch above his weight. Terminator is good for housewives/stupid cops etc. (as pointed out above) but AI ain't no competition for RI (Real Intelligence).

And he's got a gun in his leg.

If you think about it at all logically, which is obviously a tragic mistake.

Robocop - Can't turn around, can't reach his back.

Doesn't really take much tactical AI to work out how to attack.

Besides which surely Batman, given the obligatory 30 mins, could beat them both combined.

Terminator would destroy robocop. It feels no emotion, only hatred for everything organic. The whole point of the terminator films is that they overcome ridiculous barriers and still kick ass.

Comparing the films, I think the first Robocop is better than the first Terminator. Robocop I was a classic bit of satire, which ripped apart the very mentality that I suspect a fair proportion of its own fans had. I bet quite a lot of people who liked it were "Let's shoot the homeless" types, without realising the film was actually ripping the piss out of that mentality. Terminator One on the other hand is not as good as Two.

However, the Robocop sequels were increasingly piss. 2 was alrightish (the "Thank you for not smoking" bit was pretty funny), but nothing like the classic that Terminator Two was.

Robocop 3 was one of the worst films I have ever seen, and Terminator 3 was like the best film ever compared to that.
