i never said that! and never implied that! what do you think the CNWP is trying to do?

again, ignore the points people have made previously. the two things are not independent of each other. do you not think that a NWP would encourage people to get involved in their unions and give them somthing to fight for? you no what, i'm not even going to bother repeating myself, i'll just quote myself...

Do you really think RMT members know or care anything about your tiny marxist grouplet?

We're all still learning whatever our ages. I think you'll find it is worth looking up the answer to this specific question about how many parties were involved in the formation of the CPGB - it will surprise you if you think historically workers' parties were built by rallying workers exclusively to one sect/party's view.

As a model for a new Workers Party I can think of few less appropriate than the CPGB so crap was it that it had to be founded twice. Whatever the considerable merits of many CPGB activists over the years it was from start to end an example of how not to build a revolutionary party.

Socialistsuzy.
A shop stewards movement will be built from the experience by workers of the antagonisms in the workplace not by the setting up of nwp's in the communities.I dont even think they go hand in hand.
This nwp initiative, while merited, will have little effect unless much more work is done by the left to organise around workplace issues in the big unions.
Where btw are all the signatories on the cnwp site from the GMB, TGWU,and AMICUS?
The left have initially a responsibility to build the S/Stewards movement .
