Rise festival Sunday 15th...

we'll be there.

I had an impression that rise was on in Finsbury park on Sunday and Clapham common on Saturday, but now I can't find any mention of Clapham Common.

i'm sure it was even on Dub's list of events in parks PDF.

I thought it was on Clapham Common too... I'm sure I saw it somewhere a few months ago, then was surprised to learn it was in Finsbury Park

Think it might have been originally as it was in my diary as being there. Maybe they changed it?

Maybe they secretly changed it and erased all evidence. There were even flyers with it on, I'm sure.

Must be. My diary never (rarely) contains mistakes!

i went to this when it was in Burgess Park (great space for a festy) and it was the most glorious summer day. The music was tops & really across the board, the sun set on summer brilliant African band, I wish could remember their name:)

If only I had a scanner I could show you what my diary says. Saturday in Clapham, then a big arrow to Sunday, then Clapham crossed out & replaced with Finsbury Park.

Uncanny.

Went to this last year and it was jokes. The Buzzcocks were pretty cool to see :) (even though they looks like they might die v soon..).Definately gonna go to this one bring on the sun and the spliff!

I like the noisettes, and im going really just to see how fit Kelis is in the flesh :D

Weird, it's in my calendar as Sunday on Clapham Common. Anyway... see what state we're in after my b'day on Sat.... always a possibility :)

I've got a scanner. Fax it to me and I'll post it. :D

Well, it's tomorrow, and as someone on another thread pointed out, the Victoria line is down from Brixton to Highbury and Islington, so you Brixtonites are going to have to get the Northern line and change to the Piccadilly.

well we saw the end of beardyman, wandered round for a bit then got absolutely fucking drenched to the skin, back home drying out for now but thinking about heading out again for the skatalites or bill bailey I can't decided which!

just home, wow the most torrential rain i've ever seen yeah, nearly went home but it cleared up far quicker than it 'set in' so decided to stay. Best bits: Jamelia, especially covering 'Crazy' she was the perfect act to see through the storm,& Noisettes, proper rokin stuff.

I only live down seven sisters road and we were going to go to this (went to the 'london united' one in burgess park). Bit wet and my health isn't good today so we didn't make it.

Anyone catch Shazia Mirza in the comedy tent?
