Chris Penn's dead

Actor Chris Penn, brother of Sean Penn, was found dead Tuesday at his condominium near the beach in Santa Monica, police said.

Police said they discovered the 40-year-old actor's body around 4 p.m. Lt. Frank Fabrega said there were no obvious signs of foul play.

Sean Penn's publicist, Mara Buxbaum, issued a statement saying that "the Penn family would appreciate the media's respect of their privacy during this difficult time."

I actually thought he was a better actor then Sean Penn.

More horrifying for me tho was I thought this was Penn Gillet of Penn and Teller cause its early and i was wondering if his name was really chriss penn.

Damn...last time I saw him on TV he was playing a crook in CSI Miami - and acted everyone off the screen.

Actor Chris Penn, brother of Sean Penn, has been found dead at his Santa Monica home

Police discovered the 40-year-old stars's body around 4pm local time yesterday. There were no obvious signs of foul play. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.

"The Penn family would appreciate the media's respect of their privacy during this difficult time," Mara Buxbaum, Sean Penn's publicist, said.

Penn's body was discovered in a bed inside the residence, located in a four-storey condominium complex near the beach. Authorities were called to the condominium complex by Penn's housekeeper.

I was pretty sad to read about this, aside from Resovoir Dogs he was also in two of my favourite ever films, True Romance and Short Cuts.


Might watch TR tonight in his honor.
 
Chris Penn was a massive cokehead and became a real fat fucker over the past few years. Do him going this early probably wasn't a real surprise.

He died shorting a big fat line of rock off the arse of a teenage whore. At least he would have done if he had any style left in him.
