I agree, but i think its important to counter the notion that anti-semitism in the middle east is solely a consequence of the creation of Israel.

I feel it is more important to counter the lie that Arab anti-jewism is the same as that of European anti-semites. It's not. Different power relations exist there. For many people in the middle east their actual experience of 'jews' is bombs, bullets, death, destruction, land theft, exile and horrendous living conditions. Address that and it's possible the historic rubbish will lose much of its potency.
