Revolver

I thought Football Factory was the worst kind of trash that the UK film industry could ever come out with - I also thought Richie's first two films were horrible offensive tosh. I therefore have no real desire to waste my money on either The Business or Revolver cos I have a suspicion they will be shite as well.

Orang utan please watch the business, and then watch revolver a week later, it will take you a week to get over having paid to watch the business.

The moment I finished watching this, I was so annoyed I said 'what a piece of shit' out loud for wasting my time.

Whats bad in this is the scrip. Its shit. No words can accurately describe how appalling the story is.

The film is actually very impressive art work. The way it looks is great. Switch off the sound to detatch yourself from the film, he can come up with some very impressive imagery at times. Given a smaller ego and a decent script I reckon Guy Richy could do very well.

I was constantly reminded of Fight club, some bits were totally lifted, except Fight club was a true classic and this is a total waste of time. I was waiting for the Fight club style mega impressive twist, I got a wet kipper round the chops.

Did guy ritchie ever go away, this film is brilliant. All his critics will look at what has gone before and try and locate his inspiration, but even they hopeful will say a job well done. Anyone seen it?

you've got to be fucking kidding. absolute pile of wank

I don't want this thread to degenerate into a slanging match but I did like revolver, lots of people didn't. I will champion any cause that is worthy.

Roaring success by all accounts from what I understand, up there with Coppola and Aronofsky now. They'll be asking him to remake Star Wars now, just you see.

Rahhh, that film sounds crap. Proper, proper crap.

You've gotta laugh though - I love the idea of Guy Ritchie's career going down the pan as EVERY film critic slams his masterpiece.

Ha!

why not get behind the British film industry instead of slating it just because everyone else is ?
