Return of the Mandelson

How does that make you lefties feel ? Are you really that scared of the Tories that you would let that cunt Mandleson, who has to be the most corrupt and venal politician of our age, effectively take control of things ?
Indeed he is an extremely nasty piece of work. No arguing with that. It can be argued about the 'most corrupt and venal'. He's nothing compared to the corruption that went on with the tories in the 80s and 90s.

Seems like bad judgement from Brown, to me, unless Mandy is bringing something to the table. But Brown's never really been a politican, as such, he just gets on with it.

Nino...mandy was a lefty before he went to Oxford. I don't think Stoat was saying mandy was a lefty though, just asking what 'lefties' were thinking about it.

The statement released about his appointment waffled on about the badly needed 'experience' he brings to government.

As far as I can see the only experience he has is of inexplicably weaselling his way back into high places after being disgraced time after time. The slimy teflon coated twat.

.

So what was comparable with his taking an undeclared loan from a fellow MP who was being investigated for his role in a pension fraud by the very department Mandleson just happened to be in charge of ?

Really would like to know which senior Conservative Minister was comparable and if the Tory in question was then bought back into Government on two occassions ?

The proof of the pudding will be the eating will it keep the blairites quiet even as labour lurches to oblivion

Stupid question, though.
Are you really that scared of the Tories that you would let that cunt Mandleson [...] effectively take control of things ?

How did 'lefties' "let" him do anything? How would 'lefties' prevent him from effectively taking control of things? Why ask the question of 'lefties' any more than, say, Lanarkshire beekeepers?

He's a rightwing politician coming into a rightwing government by being made a Lord.

I don't see why the prince of darkness has to be in the cabinet in order to cook up spin and stir the shit? Surely he can do that from afar in a way that benefits NL but isn't so unacceptable to the public?

Or is that not how these things work. Does the slimey little egotist need to be in the public in eye in order to function?

Picked this news up on TV here yesterday.
I can't believe that Brown is suck a fucking idiot as to bring that corrupt bastard back into UK politics.

I'm just waiting to see what the papers dig up this time. Bet it's going to be good.

I think New Labour are on full steam ahead self destruct....reemploying a fiddling, lying bastard is bad enough, but fuck me, a Bilderberg stooge too....
