Restaurant needed - urgent!

If you really want the date to go well can I recommend Dans le Noir?

They serve the food in total darkness.

The benefit might be blown though if you are meeting her first in the light.

(sorry only teasing, hope you have a great date)

When you're as much of a hottie as me, without the personality to match, the darkness is more of a hinderance :p

Clos Maggiore, Andrew Edmunds and Hakkasan (bending my own reqs) booked up :(

RSJ and The Landau next...

Hear that Urban stalkers?

Who was going to pretend to be Xanadu's agreived wife when we gatecrash? I forgot!

Aldo Zillis place? (fishy one or non fishy one). Lovely enough if not posh, though the food was one of the nicest meals I've ever had (though I have a notoriously awful (or simple) palatte!).

Dirt cheap too - well, not 'posh' restaurant prices, and I've never had a problem getting a table.

I like Joe Allen's - not swanky like some of the other restaurants mentioned but relaxed, nice atmosphere, good service and good food. American Bistro food though so nowt mind-blowing, just a nice place all round.

Mon Plaisir is great, one of my favourite restaurants. Very busy pre/post theatre.

You could try Asia De Cuba in St Martin's Lane hotel

I second the Clos Maggiore and Mon Plaisir. I went to Mon Plaisir a few weeks ago. We missed the deadline time for the pre theatre menu and went a la carte which was a bit pricey but good. Clos Maggiore is very romantic and pretty with fairy lights hung around the restaurant.

They were lovely on the phone at Clos Maggiore, but couldn't get a table until 9:30pm. I'm going to have to save it for another time.

RSJ was wonderful by the way. Service was spectacular, food was just right, and atmosphere was what I was looking for.
