Respect to explode?

Short memories. No mention of you mk12?

To be fair, his is more critical. I stayed in Respect after leaving SWP too.

But it seems odd that his criticisms of the SWP were based around Respect. So why not leave Respect?

well may be I still think we need to start again from the bottom up, socialists and working class activists uniting around specific actions, building campaigns in action and standing candidates where standing can win more people to the class stuggle- e.g. a striking worker standing against cuts/ privatisation etc.

As though the Socialist Alliance never happened....
 
Nick Bird criticises the way the SWP operates in Respect, not the need for the project itself. So he has resigned from the SWP but stays in Respect. Sounds an eminently sensible position to me.
