Republicans condemn rioters opposing Orange parades

The way I see it is that it was just a bunch of hoods throwing petrol bombs/fireworks/rocks etc with some guidance from republican dissidents who'll never have widespread support from the Nationalist community. Not really a big deal considering there's always tensions this time of year.

Personally I think the silent protest method that's worked quite well this past few years is the best way to go about things and let the representatives from both sides try and iron things out over the table. At least they're starting to talk to each other which would be unimaginable 10 years ago.

totally agree :)

Fuck off back to the 70s when those questions meant something. Do you support the hunger strike santa?

So you don't think a mob of racists marching down peoples streets beating drums and reminding Catholics of their second class status means anything?

Would you say the same if the KKK marched through black neighbourhoods?

Would you accuse the black community for "causing trouble" when they make it clear the KKK are not welcome and brick the marchers?

Yeah i love racists. This argument by crap analogy - not so much

No. It's exactly the same thing. Orange marches are intended to remind the taigs to stay in their place. If the loyalists really want peace then stop these fucking triumphalist processions through catholic neighbourhoods. When they happen don't condemn the victims for fighting back.

Been totally coherent - no you don't.

No you haven't you have twisted and turned like a blade of grass in the wind. You refuse to answer a single one of the questions I posted. Instead you throw stupid abuse and totally ignore the issue. Which is the right of working class communities to defend themselves against racist mobs marching through their streets.

I support that right. You condemn them. You are a coward

No the context is - which you've bottled, do you support the GFA or not. Your cowardice ...

Ok I will answer your question (which is more than you have done with mine)

Yes. I think the armed struggle was leading nowhere. However for a meaningful peace process to continue orange provocation has to cease. While loyalists march through catholic communities those communities have every right to self defence.

Ans what progress has been made on that uninformed brother?

If any poster here is oppsoed to the GFA then say so. Don't hide behind other things.

To be honest and someone who actively supported the GFA/Belfast Agreement by helping canvass and leaflet in Belfast, I only saw it as a short term solution.

Who did you do that on behalf? I thought the SP opposed the GFA?

A lot of people are forgetting that the cops ploughed into the protesters first and then the molotovs etc were used.

I don't support the GFA butch. Doesn't mean I don't support the Peace Process though.

Thank you. I suppose the next question is why and on what basis?

What's that suppossed to mean?

Where is the political leadership for this to happen?
E.G. Possibly similar to Gavarchy Road Residents Committee?
What are the Sinners doing to organise protest?

Troops Out Movement of a kind, but it was off my own back.

No I did it off my own back:rolleyes:

How long is this going to go on?
Not going to round in circles too long I hope?

I didn't question that.

You just said you helped out TOM in the election and I'm asking what election.
Sorry if I mislead.
You put up SP and I presumed you wanted to know what my political affiliation was regarding North Of Ireland:rolleyes:
