I will take a stab and say that as a memeber of that community he has a vested interest in finding excuses for misfortunes that befell the community in a hge way (450,000 odd Arabs left or lost their homes in the event, very few were made to do so by Israel).

Christians in Lebanon have been fighting for decades and have participated in and suffered from someof the worst atrocities ever committed in the region. Who do you think killed all those "Palestinians" in Sabra and Shatilla?

"Israel is not that kind ot its Arab citizens.": Its Arab citizens not only enjoy the highest standard of living per capita of any Arab group on Earth, they laos live in the nation rated #1 in Human rights for the entire region every year the rating has been made! The more than 2.2 million Arab citizens CHOOSE to live there.

They could simply move to Gaza, or the "WB" but they of course do not. Life is not too bad for them. They have every right any other Israeli has and then extra ones to boot!
