Reggae cover versions

THis is an interesting one - a lovely Hugh Masekela (south african trumpet don) track, from 1969, seems to be very rare, but has classic written all over it

with a three part version excursion here

1. Dizzy & The Soul Syndicate - Riot
2. Soul Syndicate - War Dance Affair (aka Bongo Riot) <<<love this one
3. U Roy - The Hudson Affair

Ooh that is a good one, I always thought the Soul Syndicate 'Riot' was the original, and I thought it was
a mid-60s recording - apparently not, according to Dub Vendor:

Country Roads...Toots and the Maytals
I love that cover of Country Roads by Toots :D :D

Anyone watching that must've thought it was a negative reality inversion.
