Yeah i eeerrrrr... beg to differ :o :D

I did however managed to survive the gauntlet of people who i really didn't need to be running into that evening without getting into too many awkward situations! ( )

Lovely to meet loads of new faces, etc.

:)

Had a good one. Didn't get downstairs too much cos it was too hot & most of the music was a bit too odd.

Really good to see people though.

At the end it was a bit shit to see someone aggressively demanding contributions or else not letting them leave the room to go upstairs & out. Actually it was a lot shit, not a bit shit.

Nice to meet Moggy and Badgers and all the other fine folk. I could only stay briefly as I had to go and watch some bands back in Stokey. Will catch up with you later Onky.:)

Well i'm glad you thought it odd, i thought it was bit too straight at times :p

sorry the bucket thing seems to have escalated into something aggressive i think this was in part due to peoples reluctance to put anything in the bucket :( it's all done for free with nowt from the foundry.

Hope to do another one if for no other reason than to get all the niggles right.

Of course people were reluctant to put money in the bucket. To do a party which is advertised as free then demand people donate is utterly stupid. Do a pay party or simply ask for donations. You need to let your mate know this cos I thought he came across as a right cunt. He wasn't to happy when I told him either, although it made no difference to his unacceptable behaviour.

I gave fuck all money purely because of his attitude, I would have done otherwise.

edit to add- apologies if this comes across as a tad harsh- I had a good time otherwise, but this incident did spoil it.

would be better to say 1 pound donation rather than free then people would be less reluctant to pay anything... sounds a bit cuntish to me.. lucky for bucketman i wasnt around when he was there otherwise he would of felt my techno slap

Was at the foundry for a bit, was great while I was there. I didn't even think to donate money though (nor did I notice any buckets). Just assumed that with the amount of people there the people putting on the entertainment would get some kind of pay by the venue.

yes you would've thought we'd get something but it's to do with the arms length approach that the Foundry has to stuff, "Do whatever you want but don't charge." This way everyone who uses the place however weirdly or with however little audience can do anything. That kinda thing is v.difficult to come by in London.

points above taken, i think we can get away with Free/Donations next time.

I'd have given some money if i'd actually been in a conscious enough state to actually see people with buckets :o
