- can carry off royal blue
- has got the hair and make-up right

Am I the only one who finds it vaguely comforting that despite having a fantastic figure, money to burn, stylists at your fingertips, designers falling over themselves to lend you posh frocks and jewels dripping from every oriface most of these red-carpet types still look rubbish?

And I thought beauty was largely a matter of time and money!

Bring on the Spanglechick - she'd do a much better job!

I guess one of the issues is that interesting dresses are more likely to get column inches than something safe. Which is probably why you often find some of the nicest most flattering outfits are on the partners of the 'star' - they're not obliged to wear something a bit outlandish in order to keep their profile up.

Beyonce's mum clearly doesnt like her daughter. @ mum sabotage.

I agree that the colour is stunning on her, but the dress is just a little bit trashy. Too much cleavage.
