If she doesnt start the thread, ask Melinda to send you the youtube link to the weave story. It is fucking hilarious, but I´m at school now and dont have a link to the story.

Weaves?! Maybe the occasional clip-in hair piece when my hair was shorter, but its now just below shoulder length.

Its just Ive lost too many friends to bad weaves, seen too many tragedies. *sobs*

You csn post the story! At the very least pm it to Teeps, she would love it :)

And glam IS important!

Teeps was already covered when I sent it to you. :D

Just never been interested in how the slebs look when they go to their poncey parties. They all look like drag queens anyway. :D

Im a jeans and hoodie girl, but I like pretty dresses on other people. On special occasions like. I am not ashamed.

I give you Tilda Swinton, the personification of statuesque. I love that she couldnt give a stuff what people think of her taste.

Miley Cyrus unsettles me, she is the oldest looking 16 year old Ive ever seen.
Something about her dress upset me until I realised it looks like she is wearing giant flakes of dandruff.

It looks like found herself naked in a darkened room with nothing but a roll of gaffer tape and piece of neon cloth with which to fashion an outfit.

And even if those were the circumstances, it would be an embarassingly poor effort.

Im not feeling navy though :(

Plus, you can see the scaffolding through the fabric. She often wears couture gowns which amplify her size.

tina fey looks amazing. amanda seyfried though... <shakes head in despair> it's so sad when bad dresses happen to good people.

I think the dress is corseted - certainly there's structure to mid thigh, to disguise the 'apron' area (the bit of flesh that rolls over the hips and sits at the top of the thighs.) But better that than wear something shapeless, imo. I think she needs the boobs to be less bound up - she needs to balance out her bum.

Agreed- structure and corsetry is infinitely preferable to shapeless.

It would have been richer and more sumptuous in a deep green, a gold or a red- even black.

yes on the green... or maybe a really dark violetty-purple.

edit - i don't like the netty skirt-train... but i spose it makes the difference between black tie and red carpet...

I dont think she presented Spangles.

I love the bones of her, Im sure I would have remembered... Now she knows how to dress.

I think she looks brilliant.

I think she looks brilliant.

She does indeed. You'd never catch her in a dress that looks like it's intended to cover a loo roll. And yes SJP, I mean you.

Spot the difference
