im going, its my birthday sunday n all

well that was a whole lot more messy than i expected it to be...

i saw people doing the can can on stage with bad manners, but i did not notice the police on the bill. i must have been in the bar when they were on... i certainly was not up in the gabba room in the main house (i lasted all of two minutes)It was great fun though, especially my missus doing the can can to the police on Sunday.

I have news of the 2009 version ...

From the Recydrate facebook group:
"Yes that’s right the team who brought you “The Worlds Best Cider Fest” Now present BOOMTOWN FAIR.
Watch this space for future updates of this years festival ;-)"
http://www.boomtownfair.co.uk/
) and relocated back to somewhere near Bristol, as BoomTown Fair 2009.

After sell out success every year, now back for its 3rd year BoomTown Fair
That's from efestivals. Who do they think they are? MK Dons or something?
That confused me as well, because the BoomTown incarnation is definitely new for this time. They must just mean there were two Recydrate The West fests previously ...but yeah does read a bit weird agreed.
So they're talking shite then.
, but perhaps they're trying to stress the continuity -- same organisers, same festival effectively -- even though the name has changed. My bet is that they've changed the name for license related reasons, remember they couldn't hold it near Bristol last year (too many restrictions imposed) and they had to move it to Wales. I should think the name change was to enable it to return to Bristol or nearby. What's your opinion on the MK Dons?

Anyway, lets leave it there!

I was up for Recydrate but not sure I can do this new one on different dates. I spose it remains possible, but it's unlikely. Looks good too.

change of date, the fest has been moved back from September to the weekend of Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August, same bloody weekend as (the even more excellent) Endorse It In Dorset, already a commitment for us.
