HI,

I'm french and I'm looking for the second hand records (vinyl) in LONDON area.

I know the music exchange in CAMDEN and NOTHING HILL but have you more good adresses to give me. I know you had already talk about this but now in 2008 probably some of them are closed.

Thanx for your answers and sorry for my wrong english

Thanx !

I know this record shop too. But someone tell me there is more record shop near Berwick isn't there ?

And others good adress or good charity shops ?

Yes but a lot of record shops felt down now and probably there is little record shops in London area not recensed by Google.

So is there someone to help me for record shops in London? and charity shops where there is many records ?

Or a very good second hand record shop in other town in England ?

Try "Cheapo Cheapo Records" on Rupert Street

Loads of vinyl, CDs, DVDs...mostly second hand and definitely not a trendy shop but worthy of an hour or two of your time.

Thanx for all !!

and some good adresses for CHARITY SHOPS ? cause I see some OXFAM CHARITY CHOPS but there wasn't very good for records.

And in other town ?

And SELECTORS MUSIC EMPORIUM in BRIXTON (south London) is ever open ?

and is there a lot of records ? What kind of music ?

Opens in the afternoon / early evening. Mostly reggae and dancehall, with some R&B and hip hop etc. Amazing stock if you love dancehall / bashment , otherwise I wouldn't bother

Thanx for your answers and in another town in ENGLAND do you know a really good record shop for second hand records (not reissues) ?

what kind of madness is this :D

you either have loads of money and a big van to drive around the UK collecting vinyl.

or you have a vendetta against vinyl and a load of petrol and some matches

:hmm: ;)

NO :D

I wanna go only to right place and I don't want to loose my time going to records shops felt down that's why I ask these infos

So if someone tell me in BRISTOL , BIRMINGHAM, LEEDS or SHEFFIELD or other town there is a very good record shop I will probaably go to these towns to visit them & look for records too.

The most important problem now in 2008 is that records shops are gone.

And I have another question is there some good fairs for records in England ?

Thanx for your help
