recommend me some shit hot drum n bass

Most of the new stuff is proper shit but,

Any pre 2000 ish stuff by the following generally rocks:

Andy C
Ray Keith
Nicky Blackmarket
Brockie
Bryan Gee
Dj Rap
Roni Size
Goldie
Dj Hype
Dj Zinc

98-2000 was the era for me, when Liverpool actually had a decent drum and bass night (X Amount of Bass). Small scene, small venue but all the big hitters came and boy for a couple of years we had a fucking awesome time

try congo natty
and dowload a Topaz mix or 2 from the DJ mix thread in music :)

Topaz should be on DnBradio.com later today as well, dare you to try and get her to give you a shout out :D;)

Breakage
Dom & Roland (Listen to 'Industry', its a must)
Evol Intent - Us Against The World
Black Sun Empire

Would recommend some particulars but my memory int so good

2 of my faves:
biotec has some mixes online which are pretty sweet if you like it a bit more jungly, anyone know if deadlock has anything online?

Ah good, I need this thread.

I recently discovered I like drum and bass.

Or at least LTJ Bukem's James Bond thingy.

Just bought Drum&BassArena-The Classics mixed by Goldie for £2 well worth it so far!
Hospital records also seem to be putting out decent stuff at a consistent rate.

I have a Mixmag mix from a few years ago by John B called Trance 'n' Bass. It's fucking great. Got some Klute, Concord Dawn and Raiden on there. Will PM you later with details :)

If you're after a bit of live shit with Mc-ing and whatnot, I'd recomend looking up some Live At The End Renegade Hardware mixes - my favourites probably being Loxy & Gremlinz and Spor&Chris Renegade

I went to a few of the RH nights @ The End. Had a fucking ace time :)

Been to it since it moved to Area at Vauxhall? I went 5 times when it was at The End and every one was fucking superb.

Nope, I kind of fell out of the the whole scene when the people I used to go with all got boring at stopped taking drugs :D

I'm v much looking forward to dnb sunday at the Glade but have to admit I've not kept up with dnb and it used to be my favourite genre and I used to buy mags like Knowledge religiously and spend waay to much money at Blackmarket as well as having a dj girl crush on Ms Pink :o

Spent monday listening to some ace old DJ Marky and Zinc Bingo Beats compilations and Nightlife 1 & 2 - Andy C will always remain one of my favourite DJ's. Everytime I've seen him play out, he's completely blown me away.

*goes to find some dnb for ipizzle listening at lunch*

I've always like you Pie Face, haven't I always said so, hmm?

I've been listening to Tali this lunchtime, whilst mooching round Maplins

The Lynx and Kemo album that came out this week has got some sweeeeeeet tunes on it - more of a chilled home listenin' album though I'd say
