recommend me a nice soft drink that isn't drenched in sugar..

I think we should wrap her in a wet towel and hold her in front of a fan

I'd quite like that :o

The heat and my womb have conspired against me. Plus apparently I've even caught the sun sitting 1.5 metres away from the window - stripes from the blinds across my chest. Fuck's sake.

I thought that only happened in cartoons? :hmm:

Water - already got and bored off

bitter lemon - don't like
tonic water - don't like
chilled herbal tea - haven't tried - is it not disgusting???? any flavours?
ginger or peppermint coridal - BLEURGH!!!!!!!!

:(

Make a jug of fruit tea and let it cool down and then put it in the fridge.
Apple and fizzy water is a classic.
Grapefruit is good too and certaily not too sweet.
Also recommend rhubarb and fizzy water, really tangy.

i've been drinking elderflower cordial recently. either that or ginger and lemongrass cordial. a good trick i find is to fill up an old bottle full of tap water and stick it in the fridge. cordial drinks always taste much nicer when the water is really cold!

There's a really nice organic ginger ale drink you can get in health food shops - can't remember the name but it comes in silver cans.

really really cold lassi - made with a spoon or 2 of yoghurt, very cold water and/or chipped ice, tiny bit of salt, and (depending on your taste) a dash of cumin powder OR a little chopped mint OR a tiny teeny bit of sugar.

or gazpacho! OK, strictly speaking a food not a drink, but not too sugary and the most refreshing thing in the world. Liquidised salad basically - finely finely chopped red onion, garlic, tomato, green pepper, cucumber, little bit of olive oil, some more cold water (or icecubes, even better), salt, bit of extra passata or tomato puree if your tomatoes are anemic. you can chop all this by hand if you want to play with knives and get mad chef skillz, or just chuck it all in a blender and whizz to a pulp.

other than that I got nuthin', you've knocked all the obvious options out of the park already....
