Goodbye Pork Pie

Bloke uses a stolen credit card to hire a car, becomes public enemy number one as a result, and is chased the entire length of New Zealand in the company of a disillusioned musician hitchhiking to see his ex-wife.

It's absolutely brilliant. Great performances, fantastic one liners, and best of all it's just a road movie with some car chases, so no need to engage your brain.

Man, that is some random film! There's so much wrong with it but you can just feel the passion in making it on a budget in the massive NZ film industry as it must have been at the time. I dunno whether the add a recommendation or not. Blondini!

Bump! I love comedy and love movies but have watched very few comedy movies I like (basically anything with Seth Rogan, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill, Owen Wilson etc. is a non-starter). Anything new out that's any good?
