Recommend me a bar in Soho

It's all very grown up in there. But house wine's £15.85 a bottle which isn't too bad if you decide you don't want to shell out for fizz.

I must say I do enjoy sinking into a leather armchair and having a cold glass of wine pressed into my hand whilst the in-house pianist plays cheesy music.

Oh god, I really am getting old, aren't I?

Does Kettners have a dress code? Would slightly tatty trainers pass the test?

I've just checked the website and can't see anything about a dresscode. To be honest I don't think they'd be bothered. They're in Soho after all so I would imagine they have people turning up in varying degrees of scruffiness/smartness.

Actually, now I think about it, the last time I went I was on my way to see a band play at The Astoria so was in jeans and my other half was in jeans and trainers. No one batted an eyelid.
