Haven't got it
thats a good thing!
Its not rare or expensive and you get to play it to fresh ears!
one thing i would say is listen to it from start to finish - its been carefully designed for a continuous listen, with track order carefully worked out and the tracks running over into the next one
Whats your favourite BU album otherwise Ringo?
Yes, was mildly vexed cos I thought I had everything good in lp 20 years ago and then realised a while back Showcase wasn't just a hash of stuff I had already.
Really though I'm excited about a new treat I can get easily
The top row are the ones I play most, most people rate Showcase as their best but it was the other 3 I played to death when I was getting in to them
Don't think Dubkasm's Victory has been mentioned. Massive on dubplate for a couple of years, then released about a year ago. The Luciano vocal to it has just been released too.
at spauls carnival Negus Melody played it as their last one and as Dubkasm are from Bristol it felt all the more victorious! Crowd loved it!
Haven't bought any vinyl for a while, so just treated myself to that iration steppas and tena stelin one.
I know this isn't dub, but I believe my mum is getting me this for xmas too
I like this...
New TNT Roots release out now, and then they're gone:
Greetings one and all.
It is a pleasure to announce the release of my latest dub CD album entitled "SONIC WEAPONS OF RAW DUB" the CD contains 10 raw dubs with a second mix, the running time is about 79 minutes and the cost is £12, no more to pay. If anyone is interested please make a Paypal payment to firstname.lastname@example.org and please supply your postal address.Full respect goes out to everyone who has supported my works, full respect also goes out to all the conscious musical warriors taking a stand against the evil Babylon system.
As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
Lion charge bring the heavyweight bass as ever.
is it any good?
Dunno, only ordered this morning, but unless its wildly different from his usual stuff it will be good in a unique, stupendously heavy, never play it out, kind of way.
Only on Fb I think but
The new Dub Dynasty album is excellent - this is my favourite cut

New Alpha Omega album also incoming - first in 6 year or so
Not that new but love these
Loads of people (including Fozzie Bear ) have been banging on about this Jay Glass Dubs album, and it's now free (or pay what you like) on bandcamp: fucking ace so far...
I bagged this earlier in the summer. The version of material things (dub things) is nice.
It was released in the summer.
Stoke Newington skank from 2 mins in.
conscious sounds are my favourite modern roots producers no doubt... they manage to make it live without sounding cheesy which appears to be very difficult.
Yeah his stuff is all wicked and so is everything on the Bokeh Versions label. Not strictly reggae but definitely all dub.
Dougie,,, flagship dub...
