That's enough to make me stick to chemical fizz for ever. With a Domestos chaser. Urrrgggggh!!!

It's only like beer thrush. A dollop of live yoghurt could improve the pint ;)

The good news is that the new owners are going to remedy all sorts of long overdue repairs etc.....perhaps I should start a poll about what should replace the hideous orange paintwork......

I'd like a normal, restrained colour scheme and more relaxed, intimate lighting!
And the biggest fuck off extractor fan known to mankind.

Well to be fair on the temporary manager who chose the colour, he had vision problems at the time and was awaiting an op or summat, and he was told it was Terracotta.....

Does someone have the Pantone numbers for the "dark nicotine" and "light nicotine" that used to be Young's house colours for pub paintwork? ;)

But not any shade of blue ...the Skinners Arms on the Camberwell New Road got done out in blue a few years ago and it had the psychological effect of sitting in a fridge.....

As did the back bar of the Queen when Sean painted it blue and white. It looked worse than it did before. In fact when they refurbed it (well, did a cheapo paint job) they returned it to pretty much the colour it had been previously.

Blue is too cold.

Now that's more like terrracota, not

Not to be confused with:
2900.jpg

"True terracotta";

3719.jpg

"Natural terracotta"; or even

17534.jpg

"Tuscan terracotta"

And for my money

"Soft terracotta" is Young's old "pale nicotine" :)
