Like my horny hardtop. :D Except in a nice shade of beige.

but I can see why the urge to do a ton on your way to the shops would be so strong...

Its way way way to easy :D

And I think you could be right nogoodboyo.

She is sooooo good as a pillion that I sometimes forget that she's on there. Honestly I've taken wider lines cos I'm wearing a rucksack.

It burns about 3,000 gallons of fuel an hour which is why my choice of car is environmentally irrelevant!

Do you think? Is more fuel burned by road vehicles or planes?

My car's pretty brisk, but my two-wheeled transports put out about 4bhp from a mighty 49cc stroker or roughly 0.0087bhp from a wheezing old bastard with lungs like used teabags (i.e. me).

So, yeah, ton up over hump backed bridge does seem a bit

I've got a red Mission BMX, but I haven't got a digital camera to post a pic.

It's got a Joker shaped horn too!

:)

that is a nice bike. I let out a little "ooooh" when I saw it. :)

I want one. where did you get it?

Cheers:) I built it up myself. Its based around a Koga Miyata FM-1 steel frameset (lighter than a lot of aluminium frames as it happens!) and Campagnolo Veloce components.

ah... fair enough... I think I'd have trouble doing that. I was well excited when i managed to adjust my brakes successfully the other day!

I had a look at their (Koga Miyata) website just now. they make some nice stuff...

if only I had a spare grand....

I just helped Eme carry it from Evans Cycles in Waterloo in its natty carry bag.

The thing doesn't pack away quite as small as you think it might, but it cruised past the 'can you bring it on a bus' test!

My bestest (and currently only) bike is a Peugot 653 racer, with Shimano 600/Ultegra throughout, 14 speed, profile aero bars with Mavic MA40 rims (beautiful wheels!).

With luck, tomorrow I'll also be the owner of a Dahon Jetstream folding bike with full suspension ready for some holiday cycling!

It's so cool you went for the folding bike in the end - both of you!! I'm quite envious actually! Good work!

I'd never really tinkered with bikes until a few years ago. As long as you have some tools and space to work its a peice of piss. Don't be put off, the idea of buying an off the shelf bike fills me with dread, its custom builds all the way from now on.

Not that high actully.
This one is my workhorse,

Mazocchi mz race fork, xt front and rear mech, shimano discs with Avid levers, Tioga cube stem, Azonic chubby wide bars, Dmr v12's and thats about it.

Cost roughly £850 to do and you can take her anywhere.
